YEAR 2026: BRAND NEW BEGINNINGS
- Revelation 21:5
Rev 21:5 – "Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful."
As we enter the year 2026, we are reminded of a powerful promise from God’s Word: He is the God of new beginnings. In Revelation 21:5, the Lord says, Behold, I make all things new.” This simple but profound declaration assures us that no situation is beyond God’s ability to renew, restore, and transform.
A brand new beginning is an invitation from God to start again. It is a chance to move forward with fresh faith, renewed hope, and a deeper sense of purpose. No matter what the previous year may have brought, be it challenges, victories, or lessons learned, God’s grace gives us the opportunity to step into something new.
As a church, we believe that 2026 will be a year of Brand New Beginnings, where God will strengthen our faith, restore what may have been lost, open new doors, and give us fresh vision for the future. We trust that He will write new testimonies in our lives and guide us into greater things.
This is a year to seek God more deeply, to pray with greater expectation, and to walk forward in faith, knowing that He is already at work in our lives.
We invite you to join us on this journey throughout the year as we experience God’s renewing power together. May 2026 truly be a season of Brand New Beginnings for you, your family, and all that concerns you.
Welcome to a year filled with renewal, hope, and God's grace. May the Lord richly bless you.

About RCCG
In July 1909, in Ondo State, Nigeria, a child was born into the Akindayomi family. Despite being surrounded by idol worshippers, he sought a deeper connection with God. After joining various churches, he finally heard a voice calling him to be God's servant. This led to a period of trials and spiritual growth, during which he received confirmation of his divine calling through scripture.
In 1952, he founded the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) after a vision from God. The RCCG grew rapidly, with a covenant established between God and its founder, promising divine provision for the church's needs. A successor was chosen, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, who became pastor in 1975. The founder, Josiah Akindayomi, passed away in 1980, formally passing the mantle to Adeboye.
Since 1981, the RCCG has experienced exponential growth, with thousands of parishes established in Nigeria and internationally. The church's influence extends across Africa, Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean. Notably, the RCCG organizes the Holy Ghost Service, drawing crowds of around 500,000 people monthly. This event has expanded globally, reaching countries like the UK, USA, and Australia.
Josiah Akindayomi's vision and dedication laid the foundation for the RCCG's worldwide impact. His successor, Adeboye, continues to lead the church, fostering its growth and spreading its message of faith. The RCCG's journey reflects the transformative power of faith and the enduring legacy of one man's divine calling.
Since 1981, RCCG has grown rapidly across Africa, Europe, the United States, and beyond, with thousands of parishes worldwide.
RCCG's story remains a testimony of God's faithfulness, vision, and global mission through dedicated service.
